I give first person perspective presentations – telling my coming out story, daily challenges, as well as answering questions from the audience. I use Trans PULSE data in my presentations to highlight how important it is to start talking about *trans issues. I use the information from the suicide e-bulletin in a very real and personal way by splitting the room up according to the results from the survey. I find the audience is then able to appreciate the reality of the *trans community’s situation. I tend to present to university students, I have also presented to high school students and most recently to medical school students.
